Non medical home care (also called caregiving) is a services that helps those in need by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) in order to continue living life from the comfort of his or her own home. Hospice is a program of care and support for people with a life limiting illness that are no longer choosing to seek aggressive treatment. The focus of hospice care is comfort. Hospice care addresses the whole person including physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Services include medical care, counseling, medication, medical equipment and supplies for the illness and related conditions. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 100% covered by Medicare.
